Keeping Public Spaces Safe
The Center for Global Health Delivery, working alongside Advance Acces & Delivery, the Belfer Center's Middle East Initiative at the Harvard Kennedy School, and the Harvard Global Health Institute, convened a panel of engineering and infectious disease experts to discuss the use of germicidal ultraviolet light as a preventive measure during the COVID-19 pandemic. The START Coalition
The START Coalition is composed of a panel of experts in the fields of disease prevention and management. Their mission is to leverage the lessons learned from past pandemics and employ a multi-layered approach to epidemic control. Through mass testing, robust contact tracing, the installation of germicidal UV lights indoors, and real-time data assessment, The START Coalition is working to make communities safer during the COVID-19 pandemic.
