Dr. Yihan Lin is a resident in general surgery at the University of Colorado and a research fellow in the Harvard Medical School, Department of Global Health and Social Medicine's Program in Global Surgery and Social Change. She is also an MPH candidate at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Lin is dedicated to increasing surgical access in developing nations and has prior field experience in Haiti, Uganda, and Ecuador. Her current efforts include working with the Zambian Ministry of Health to increase surgical capacity in the country. Dr. Lin is also working in Rwanda to build research capacity and surgical education in low- and middle-income countries.
