Hamed Farooqi, MD, FACE, FACP, director of the Dubai Diabetes Center at the Dubai Health Authority, UAE presented a one-day workshop at the Harvard Medical School Center for Global Health Delivery–Dubai. The workshop was aimed toward educating and engaging key general practitioners of the UAE in understanding current diabetes management guidelines and treatment options and the latest technological advancements in diabetes management.
