Global NCD Research – Perspectives from INDEPTH and UAE Countries

Harvard Medical School Center for Global Health Delivery–Dubai hosted a two-day meeting organized by the INDEPTH Network, an organization based in Africa that conducts longitudinal research based on Health and Demographic Surveillance System (HDSS) field sites in low- and middle-income countries to improve the lives of people in these countries by informing and influencing policy. The meeting in Dubai hosted more than 60 scientists from more than 20 countries. Ten published scientists presented to the group on their current and future projects as well as discussing possible collaborations between its existing network and UAE-based scientists.
