The second workshop of the Protocol Development Workshop Series, "How to develop a research protocol," was aimed to help individuals develop a comprehensive research protocol, navigate the different types of data collection tools and how to effectively use these tools for proposals. The workshop also helped the participants to understand how to prepare a budget proposal and timelines and to familiarize themselves with the standard protocol and reporting checklist.

Finally, the workshop provided a complete basic ethical review of research and an understanding of the IRB processes for applications and responses.

This one-day intensive workshop built on the essentials participants learned in the Part 1 workshop.
